Maria Semple & Darren Star: A Conversation about Television Writing

Kenneth Whyte, one of Canada's most esteemed journalists, was the founding editor-in-chief of the National Post and currently resides as the editor-in-chief at MacLean's. In his latest work, The Uncrowned King, Whyte tells the true story of a young man who created the most successful daily of his time. Whyte's portrayal of the then-emerging medium of newsprint explores the cultural significance of a phenomenon that caused some to wonder whether the newspaper would come to be regarded as "the greatest force in civilization."
